I'm a Christian, a budget coach, and someone who's walked through nearly every financial nightmare you can imagine and came out the other side not with wealth, but with something better: peace.
In January 2017, I lost $1,000 per month in income after taking what I thought was a "stable" federal job. What followed was a ten-year journey through foreclosure threats (three times!), wage garnishment, debt in collections, and a plummeting credit score. I worked two jobs .
